Kami Book Corners

“Kami Book Corners” have been installed in two new campus locations:

• The Student Parent HELP (Higher Education for Low-income People) Center
  Room 24, Appleby Hall
• The Aurora Center for Advocacy and Education
  407 Boynton Health Center

Each book corner is tailored to serve the needs of children who are currently experiencing or have experienced a difficult or traumatic life event.

We are currently soliciting funds so that we can place more Kami Book Corners in other University of Minnesota-affiliated programs. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please see the donation information on our homepage.

These book corners were funded jointly by the Office for University Women and the Kami M. Talley Reading and Resource Center.
