Business and marketing education
The business and marketing education undergraduate program
offers the choice of computer or sales and marketing emphasis
areas. Coursework for this bachelor of science (B.S.) program
includes computer training, business communication, management,
and marketing. The program prepares students to work as
educators in business settings, or to work in technical support
and administration positions.
The business and marketing education program can also prepare
students for careers in office systems, accounting, marketing,
sales, entrepreneurship, and international business. This
program also prepares students for the separate
master of education
(M.Ed.)/initial licensure program in business and marketing
education. Students completing the initial licensure program
are eligible for Minnesota teaching licensure in grades 5-12
business education.
