Early childhood education foundations
The undergraduate program in early childhood education foundations prepares students to work with young children and their families and to work with both typically or atypically developing children.
The program prepares graduates to work in non-licensure educational settings (including day-care centers or youth community programs), pursue advanced degrees, or work in other settings where a strong liberal education base is useful. In addition, the undergraduate degree program prepares students for entry into the master of education (M.Ed.)/initial licensure program in early childhood education and early childhood special education.
