Sport management
The sport management program focuses on contemporary sport as a product of social, psychological, and economic phenomena. Coursework in the sport management program addresses such topics as ethics and sport; psychology of sport performance; sport as a sociocultural phenomenon; sport management, marketing, and promotion; sport facilities; and event management. Students select courses from one of the following two sets of focused electives:
