Two former students (C. S. Ding and S. K. Kim) and I have organized a symposium for AERA (April 11, 2001, Seattle, WA) entitled Educational Applications of Multidimensional Scaling and Related Structural Equations Models (SEM). These three papers authored or co-authored by me will be included in the symposium.

  • Identifying the major profile patterns in scores on test batteries.
  • Connecting structural equations model analysis and profile analysis via multidimensional scaling. (with S. K. Kim)
  • Investigating the relationship between profile patterns and other variables: A structural equations approach. (with C. S. Ding, S. Sackett, & R. Blake).
