- Learning and cognition core requirements

- Departmental core requirements
3 credits of social psychology/personality courses: You
must take one of the following courses:

EPSY 5155—Group Dynamics and Social Influence, 3 cr.
6 credits of statistics AND measurement courses:
You must take at least two of the following courses
(1 statistic and 1 measurement):
Statistics: EPSY 8261—Statistical Methods I: Probability and Inference, 3 cr.
EPSY 8262—Statistical Methods II: Regression and the General
Linear Model, 3 cr.
Measurement: EPSY 5221—Basic Principles of Educational Measurement, 4 cr.
PSY 5862—Psychological Measurement: Theory and Methods, 3 cr. - Graduate School requirements
Minor or related fields (minimum 6 credits – check
with your adviser for consultation/permission concerning this
requirement): You must complete a minimum of 6 credits of coursework outside
the Educational Psychology deptartment (if selecting a minor, check with
intended minor department for credit and course requirements).
