Internship opportunities for QME students and grads

Here are a few samples of internships and other opportunities for current or future graduates of the QME program.

ACT Summer Internship Program

ACT Summer Internship Program is for outstanding doctoral students interested in careers related to assessment, psychometric, and statistics.

ETS Summer Program in Research for Graduate Students

Completion of at least two years of full-time graduate study in a doctoral program emphasizing one of the areas, such as education, educational technology, learning sciences, linguistics, literacy, minority issues, new constructs, policy research, psychology, psychometrics, statistics, teaching, and testing issues (including alternate forms of assessment for special populations and new forms of assessment) is required for the ETS Summer Program in Research for Graduate Students.

Internship in Minnesota Department of Education

This internship involves working with the staff of the Research, Reporting and Psychometric group at Minnesota Department of Education.

John P. Yackel/Pearson Assessment Graduate Internship

The purpose of the JPY/Pearson internship program is to provide an opportunity for a graduate student to develop an understanding of the major phases of test development and interpretation by working with seasoned professionals on major projects. Internship activities may include work on product specifications, test blueprints, and test items; field research design; data analysis; and interpretation and educational applications.
