Inspiring minds for the next century
As part of the centennial celebration, the College has set an ambitious goal to raise $1 million
in student support. As President Robert Bruininks has said,
“scholarships are my top fund-raising priority. I want to ensure
that every student with the desire and ability to succeed at the U
has the opportunity to do so.”
Every gift for student support will count towards
this goal! Whether you would like to designate a special gift to an
existing scholarship fund, create a new endowed scholarship or
direct your annual gift to the Centennial
Scholars Fund, your support will help us reach our goal—and
provide much needed help for our outstanding student scholars.
We hope you will consider participating in this
landmark campaign to “inspire minds for the next century!”
Make your gift online or contact the development office at
612-625-1310.
College history
The special commemorative magazine for the centennial of the
College of Education and Human Development contains 100 years worth
of stories and photos. Its contents—on literacy and reading, special
education, Regents professors, early childhood, lab schools, and
women and sports—acknowledge that we stand on the shoulders of
visionary founders, dedicated educators, and amazingly accomplished
alumni. Read and celebrate the College centennial!
