Institute of Child Development University of Minnesota

Project Kids was the Crick Lab’s  longitudinal study of aggression, that took place for over five years.

Project goals:

  1. to better understand the factors that contribute to the development or maintenance of aggressive behavior patterns and or prosocial behavior patterns;

  2. to evaluate the academic, social, and personal patterns associated with frequent engagement in aggression and prosocial behavior; and

  3. to assess family factors that may contribute to the use of aggression and prosocial behavior for both boys and girls.

It is our hope that this research will contribute to the design of intervention and prevention programs for aggressive children of both genders.
