International opportunities for students

The College of Education and Human Development, in collaboration with the Learning Abroad Center, offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to participate in international activities. In 2007–08, our students studied in the following countries:

    Argentina

    Australia

    Brazil

    Chile

    China

    Ecuador

    France

    India

    Italy

    Jamaica

    Japan

    Kenya

    Mexico

    New Zealand

    Republic of South Africa

    South Korea

    Spain

    Thailand

    United Kingdom

    Venezuela

Opportunities to study, intern, or work abroad range from semester-long study programs to short courses and internship opportunities lasting approximately two weeks.

In addition to international travel opportunities, our College offers opportunities to "go global" within the United State.

Our relationship with the Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA) offers students a chance to work with international communities within the Twin Cities.

In addition, opportunities for online learning with colleagues are available through the Leapfrog Institutes and Soliya.

International opportunities abound in CEHD. As students, we welcome you to experience one or many of these opportunities!
