M.Ed./initial licensure in physical education
The M.Ed./initial licensure and professional development program
is offered by the School of Kinesiology in the College of Education and
Human Development. It is a graduate-level, practitioner-based program
that offers students one option:
The
initial licensure program prepares students for Minnesota
teaching licensure in physical education. This specialization is
designed for those students who want to receive a Minnesota license to
teach K-12 physical education. A minimum of 20 credits is required for
this program, which leaves approximately 10 additional credits to
complete the M.Ed.
Note: Admission and advising for this program is offered
through Student Services.
