Coaching minor and certificate in coaching
This certificate is ideal for students declaring a kinesiology major
and/or coaching minor, students enrolling in the
sport management program, students in
teaching licensure programs planning to coach interscholastic
sports, licensed high school teachers returning for graduate studies or
preparing for head coaching positions, and students seeking to develop a
foundation for future coaching opportunities.
Applicant should:

Complete the coaching application form found in the
coaching program
packet [.pdf]

Apply for either the coaching certificate or the coaching minor
(which includes the coaching certificate).

Attach a copy of the most current University of Minnesota
transcript and any other transcripts being transferred to the
university. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at this time only
for the University of Minnesota.
