B.S. in recreation, park, and leisure studies
The
undergraduate program in recreation, park, and leisure studies remains one
of the strongest programs in the country and demand for entry into the
program is high. The program admits approximately 20 students per semester
for a current total of 75 student majors. Students work closely with a
faculty adviser in planning individualized programs shaped to meet the
career goals of the students within specific sets of required and suggested
courses for each option and emphasis area. Class sizes range from about 20
to 50. A number of students are working on independent study and research
projects directed by division faculty.
