Minnesota — A great place to live

Inside Mall of American in Bloomington
Inside Mall of America

We're not just the home of water skiing, Spam, Prairie Home Companion, and the Mall of America.

Morgan Quitno, a national publishing and research company, has named Minnesota among the nation's most livable states for the last ten years.

A significant highlight of our state is its natural beauty. We're known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” but Minnesota actually has 12,000 lakes, including Lake Superior and several lakes inside the Twin Cities. The world's third largest river, the Mississippi, originates at Lake Itasca in northern Minnesota and flows through the Twin Cities campus.
