Rethinking Cultural Dynamics: Transforming School for Every
Learner

The Research & Practice Forum will engage teams of P-12 educators
(administrators, teacher-leaders and human service professionals) in
bridging research and practice to improve leadership and pedagogy
for addressing racial disparities in achievement and building
cultural proficiency within their schools.
School teams will:
- Engage with professional leaders and researchers to enhance
their knowledge and skills for developing culturally proficient
schools
- Build upon their existing assets and identify data-driven
methods for revising their school improvement plans to address
racial disparities in academic achievement
- Gain ongoing support for developing cultural proficiency in
their schools overtime

Panels and breakout sessions will be led by professional leaders
and researchers from P-12 schools in Minnesota and the University of
Minnesota.
