Information for Students
Whether you are an incoming M.S.W. student or a current student in the school, exploration and choice of a field placement is a significant and exciting step in your social work education.
Once in field, individualized assessment of your own field-related knowledge and skills and development of an individualized learning contract guide professional learning throughout each placement. Progress in your field learning is assessed continually by you and your field instructor. Twice during each field placement, formal evaluations are completed in order to give clear feedback on current strengths and areas for development.
Links below lead you to information you will need when exploring field placements, making field placement choices, and then successfully navigating through each field practicum.
