Learning Resources for Rochester Distance Students

UMR's Information Commons is the point of contact for University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR) M.S.W. students who need to supplement their course texts with readings from books or periodicals. The library is located on the 3rd floor of UMR.

Books and periodicals not available at the Information Commons can be ordered at no charge through its Interlibrary Loan Program. Students also may access all University of Minnesota libraries and their journals and databases via the Information Commons' computers.

Computers

Students may use designated computer stations in the UMR Student Services Office. You will need your U of M login and password to use these computers.

Printing and Photocopying

Printing from LTC and Student Services computers is free. Students can make photocopies in the Information Commons for five cents per page. If you need to make photocopies when the Information Commons is closed, please contact the site coordinator for assistance.

Textbooks and Course Packets

Rochester Distance Student can purchase textbooks, technology, and general merchandise at the M Gear Store, which is managed by UofMn Bookstores.
