Human Resource Development
(HRD)
The College's HRD program began in 1980, one of the first of
its kind in the nation. It is ranked first in the nation in a University
of Illinois study, has received an Award of Excellence from the
Southern Minnesota chapter of the American Society for Training
and Development, and the Excellence and Quality Program Award from
the international Academy of Human Resource Development.
Faculty in the program are prolific authors, provide leadership
in the field's leading professional organizations, and are active
consultants. Graduates of the College's HRD programs have moved
into a wide range of professional positions in many states and several
