University of Minnesota Human Resource Development Organization (UMHRDO)

The University of Minnesota Human Resource Development Organization (UMHRDO) is a student run organization through the Department of Work and Human Resource Education. The purpose of this organization is to advance the field of human resource development (HRD) through research, professional studies, and other educational endeavors. We strive to create an atmosphere that provides closer relationships among its members, the University, and the business world. Lastly, we present current information about HRD issues through speakers and other various presentations.

Membership is available to all HRD/AdEd students and anyone who is interested.

Membership

A UMHRDO membership is $10.00 per academic year. Please print a copy of the membership form, fill it out and return it with your payment to our mailbox on the 4th floor of the VoTech Building.

Study Lounge

UMHRDO is excited to introduce a new study area on the 4th floor of the VoTech Building (across from room 420C). Feel free to stop in any time between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to write, read, or even hook your laptop up to the internet for FREE!

Note: We do want to remind you that this is and area right outside of offices, so we hope you respect the needs of the faculty there by studying quietly.
