Certificate Programs in WHRE

  • Certificates offers a shorter course of study than a degree.
  • Certificates can serve as stepping stones to a degree, and as credentials to advance your education and career.
  • Certificates provide additional recognition of professional expertise, particularly when combined with a degree.
  • Certificates are a reflection of a commitment to lifelong learning.

When successfully completed, certificates are listed on a student's transcript. With program faculty approval, credits completed in a certificate program may be transferred into a degree program.

Degree and non-degree-seeking students are eligible to apply for certificates. Many students who pursue a baccalaureate, master's or doctoral degree add to their credential by getting a certificate.
