Summer Course for Early Childhood Special Education Professionals at Minnesota State University, Mankato:

EEC 682: Appropriate Services for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Children in ECSE

Combination of online course with 2 in-person sessions

Participants will learn evidence-based assessment and intervention practices with culturally and linguistically diverse young children and their families. This course will also cover the research that investigates which educational programs produce the best long-term academic outcomes for English Language Learners and how this body of research can inform practice in Early Childhood Special Education with children birth through age 6.

The six-week session runs from June 4 to July 6, 2008, and includes two face-to-face class sessions--Wednesday, June 11, and Wednesday, July 9.

Cost for the course is $918.78 for MN residents and $1,452.63 for non-residents.
