Behavioral Support in Early Education This slide presentation was presented in Washington DC on April 29, 2000 at the Conference for Research Innovations in Early Intervention (CRIEI).The presentation offers an overview of a community program's involvement with the Multistatewide Outreach grant, from team development to becoming a consultant to colleagues. The process of building technical assistance teams in the community programs starts with initial administrative commitments from the programs. The University then provides coursework, training, and longitudinal technical assistance to the team members. The end goal is for team members to become skilled at functional assessment, developing positive behavioral support plans, and providing technical assistance to their colleagues.
