The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers
high-quality courses are taught by an exceedingly talented
faculty who have achieved national and international
recognition for their teaching and research. Equally important
are the relationships our students establish with faculty and
other students as they work collaboratively to explore some of
the most important issues in education. The department benefits
from a history of faculty involvement in major advances in the
field of education in Minnesota, the U.S., and internationally,
and has prepared many researchers, teacher educators,
administrators, and teachers both in the U.S. and abroad who
have contributed to their respective fields in significant ways.
