Commencement
The 2024 CEHD commencement ceremonies will be held Friday, May 10, 2024. The undergraduate ceremony will begin at 10 a.m., and the graduate ceremony will begin at 4 p.m.
If you are eligible to graduate, you have received an email from cehdinfo@umn.edu with a custom link to RSVP for Commencement. You will need to RSVP via this link in the email by April 15.

Undergraduate commencement
The 2024 CEHD undergraduate Commencement ceremony will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at 10 a.m.
Participating in commencement
- Refer to the final instructions for the day of the ceremony. These instructions will also be emailed to you.
- Order your cap and gown at the U of M Bookstores. The tassel color for CEHD is light blue.
- RSVP to attend the free U of M Alumni Association Send Off, on Wednesday, May 1, 4:30-6:30 p.m., McNamara Alumni Center.
Graduate commencement
The 2024 CEHD graduate Commencement ceremony will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at 4 p.m.
Participating in commencement
- Refer to the final instructions for the day of the ceremony. These instructions will also be emailed to you.
- Order your cap and gown at the U of M Bookstores. The tassel color for CEHD is black. Hood color is determined by type of degree.
- RSVP to attend the free U of M Alumni Association Send Off, on Wednesday, May 1, 4:30-6:30 p.m., McNamara Alumni Center.
