Agricultural education

The demand for leaders in agricultural, food, and environmental education grows stronger each day. Protecting the natural environment and feeding a growing world population are two of today's biggest challenges, and agriculture and science are poised to come up with solutions. Graduates of this program prepare to teach agricultural education in middle and high schools or to work in the booming agribusiness industries.
Three specialty areas are available:
- Agricultural leadership, training, and development - combines agricultural science and management with leadership and human resource development.
- Agricultural science and technology education - a licensure program that focuses on agriscience, horticulture, natural resource management, economics, and food systems.
- Natural and managed environmental education - a licensure program that concentrates on environment, climate, economics, and plant and animal science.
