Kindergarten licensure
Are you a practicing Minnesota teacher with an elementary (grades
1–6) education license?
Until June 30, 2010, you can add the state’s newly required
kindergarten licensure for elementary teachers without going through
an entire re-licensure process.
The U of M kindergarten licensure program meets all Minnesota State
requirements for preparation in this area. If you have been teaching
on a variance, now is the time to add the needed kindergarten
licensure.
You will need to complete the
additional
licensure application prior to registering for the course. You will
need a copy of your
- current resume
- current teaching license
- official transcripts except if U of M
The $55 application fee is waived for this abbreviated program.
