Social, Psychological, and Physical Development

This theme advances knowledge and applications of evidenced-based
practices that promote the psychological, physical, social
development, health, and well-being experienced by children, youth,
families, and the elderly. Activities will focus, for example, on
applying basic knowledge by the development of programs, strategies,
and practices that facilitate the development and maintenance of
healthy lifestyles across the lifespan.

Forming a neighborhood block
Join us!
The SPPD neighborhood gathered for the first time on February
21st (one of the coldest days of the year). While 14 folks told
us they were unable to make it due to schedule conflicts, nearly
30 made it! Dean Bailey joined us for awhile sharing her vision
of College neighborhoods and expressing her excitement about the
concept. After that we talked about how we would like to
organize, communicate, gather, connect, and share to promote and
build our neighborhood.
You're welcome to join a block forming now or to suggest a new
one. Contact one of us or follow the instructions at
forming a neighborhood block.
