Science teachers are in high demand, and this program will prepare you to step into your classroom with confidence. Take advantage of the College's solid mix of theory and practice, as well as all the resources that come with studying at a top research institution.

- Choose your licensure specialty area - chemistry, earth and space science, life science, or physics

- As a member of a cohort, you will be among a small group of students who all started at the same time. Cohort members find that they can create stronger and more lasting professional relationships and friendships than they would in less structured academic arrangements.
- Get your license while working towards your master's degree (M.Ed.)
Coursework
- Foundations courses like School and Society; Technology for Teaching and Learning; and Learning, Cognition, and Assessment
- Major courses such as Current Developments in Science Teaching, Teaching Middle School Science, and Teaching Secondary School Science
- Student teaching in both a middle school and a high school
