About me

I am a student services adviser for the College of Education and Human Development. I work with prospective students and students currently active in the programs listed above.

I have an honors bachelor of arts from Marquette University with a double major in writing-intensive English and history of philosophy and a minor in criminology. My master of arts from Marquette is in English. My professional experiences in higher education range from teaching college English to advising undergraduates to working in academic publishing. My mission is to make students' academic experiences accessible, manageable, meaningful, and rewarding.

I have offices on both the St. Paul and East Bank campuses so you can meet with me at whichever location best suits you. Please call the undergraduate Student Services office at 612-625-3339 to schedule an individual appointment. Whether you're already enrolled in one of these programs or just interested in learning more about them, I am here to help.

Walk-in advising

Currently admitted students or students who have attended a Student Services information session are welcome to stop by during walk-in advising hours.

Walk-in advising is limited to a 10 to 15 minute session. Students needing more time should contact an adviser to schedule an individual meeting. Full transcript reviews generally require more time and are not appropriate for walk-in advising.
