Prerequisites for family social science
Requirements for admission consideration to the major
- Minimum of 2.00 GPA
- Completion of general psychology is preferred. However, students can choose a course from anthropology or sociology or political science
- Completion of high school math requirement or intermediate algebra
Strong candidates for the major should have the following courses completed or in progress:
- Public speaking
- Economics (macro or micro)
- Statistics
- First-year writing
