Declaring your major/applying to the program
This program is open to first year applicants.

Transfer admissions
There are two steps to the transfer admissions process.
- If you have never been admitted to the University of Minnesota,
apply to the
University of Minnesota.
If you're a current University of Minnesota student, (including Duluth, Morris, and Crookston campuses) complete the Undergraduate Change of College form. - Apply to the College of Education and Human Development. [.pdf]

Application deadlines
Application materials are due by the following
deadlines:
- February 1 for fall semester admission
- October 1 for spring semester admission
Four to six weeks after the application deadline, applicants will receive written notification of CEHD's admission decision via e-mail and postal mail.
Freshman admission
If know you're interested in this program, but aren't yet a U of M student, we suggest you apply to the University of Minnesota and indicate preference for this program in the College of Education and Human Development.
Application deadline
You are encouraged to apply early in the fall of your high
school senior year. Priority consideration is given to applications
submitted by December 17.
