What about after I get my license?

Programs for licensed teachers

Learning doesn't stop with the license.

Becoming a licensed educator is just the first step in a lifelong process of education. Teachers can pursue additional educational and research opportunities such as: becoming licensed in additional content areas, completing graduate degrees, earning certificates in new areas, pursuing administrative licensure, doing comparative studies through international travel, and working toward National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification.

Programs for professionals

The graduates of the College expressed high levels of satisfaction with their preparation as reflective practitioners and lifelong learners.
NCATE/BOT report, 2006

Our relationship with professional educators goes beyond licensure. The college maintains reciprocal relationships between experienced teachers and college faculty as the means toward school improvement.
