2024 LEAD Conference Panel: Leaders in the Implementation of the READ Act

Dr. Michael C. Rodgriguez, dean of the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota, and Dr. Lucy Payne, faculty member at the University of St. Thomas, introduce a recording of a panel discussion from the 2024 Leading in Equity, Action, and Diversity (LEAD) for PK-12 System Improvement Conference, "Leaders in the Implementation of the READ Act."

Watch the video replay above of the 2024 LEAD Conference panel, "Leaders in the Implementation of the READ Act" to hear school leaders from Anoka-Hennepin and Mahtomedi as well as Representative Clardy (DFL-Inver Grove Heights) from the Minnesota House of Representatives share how their leadership influenced a positive climate and inspired practice changes to increase equitable achievement. The panel also discussed how they leveraged strengths for successes and addressed implementation struggles and pivots.
