Literacy specialist

We seek a literacy specialist to support the development and delivery of professional services and resources for educators who focus on evidence-based instructional practices in literacy. The primary purpose is to improve the quality of education for all learners. Individuals in this role will possess an in-depth level of knowledge of the science of reading and multi-tiered systems of support as well as expertise in the field of education leadership and systems improvement.

Child Welfare Practicum Coordinator

We seek an individual to teach, guide, monitor, and support students, practicum instructors (social workers practicing at host agencies who supervise MSW interns), and the practicum component of the MSW program. The person in this role has the unique position of working with both the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare and the School of Social Work’s Practicum program. You will guide students and instructors through the practicum portion of their education and ensure that students are gaining the competencies they require to enter practice as MSW-level social workers upon graduation.

Lead Teacher

We seek an individual to establish and maintain a safe, organized classroom at the Child Development Leadership School. This includes participation in the planning to establish a learning environment that is inclusive and developmentally age appropriate. The individual in this position will carry out daily activities and monitor child development by providing high-quality care, maintaining classroom materials, first aid, and daily health checks.

G&C Pro 2-Pre-Award Admin

The Office of Research & Policy (ORP) supports sponsored funding/research activities within CEHD. ORP provides highly specialized services that are responsive to researchers’ individual needs, which may include activities classified as grants, gifts, or external sales. The office’s pre- award grant coordinators work one-on-one with faculty to develop grant proposals and serve as the first point of contact for research-related questions in their units. We seek an individual to prepare and submit all grant proposals within assigned departments and serve as a liaison between researchers and the Sponsored Projects Administration during the proposal submission process.

Teaching Spec/Lecturer Elementary Education

Trio UB Academic Coordinator

We seek an individual to evaluate and implement all TRIO Upward Bound (UB) academic services, including academic year tutoring and classroom instruction, as well as all instruction during the summer program. The individual in this position will oversee high school student academic progress and develop holistic academic intervention strategies and services to positively influence the program’s ability to meet federal secondary school program objectives and prepare students for the academic rigors of college.

HR Consultant

We seek an individual to consult on an array of HR issues, including employee/labor relations, workforce planning, training and development, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and policy interpretation. The person in this position will build strong relationships with management and employees across the college to partner on solutions to complex problems and influence supervisors.
