Chris Yang

Hey Students! My name is Chris Yang, born and raised here in Minnesota. I currently reside in Brooklyn Park, MN. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my three kids, and I watch and participate in sports. I love all sports, but my big three are football, soccer, and basketball.

I was a first-generation college student and a TRIO SSS participant in the College of Education and Human Development. I completed my undergraduate degree in CEHD with a youth studies BS and then completed a master of science in higher education leadership and administration online at Capella University.

I am excited to return to CEHD and help students navigate through their academic journey as an academic advisor. Before coming to CEHD, I was an academic advisor in the College of Liberal Arts. I also have experience in higher education at Normadale Community College and Augsburg University.
