Elizabeth is a current student at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, studying Public Health Administration and Policy. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, she pursued Business and Marketing Education with a minor in Public Health. Elizabeth's passion lies in promoting equity through improved accessibility. She was introduced to TRIO during her freshman year of college, she experienced firsthand the support it provided and felt inspired to give back in any way possible.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys writing poetry, hanging out with friends and actively participates in an advisory board known as Reimagine Black Youth Mental Health. This board aims to reshape the narrative surrounding Black mental health and address the underlying factors contributing to well-being disparities. Additionally, she serves as a Community Engagement Associate at Health In Her HUE, a digital health company focused on health equity. Elizabeth cherishes the opportunity to contribute to roles that advance equity and acknowledges the privilege inherent in doing so.
