Internship Opportunity at Big Brother Mouse School
We are excited to announce an internship opportunity at our newest Mary T Scholar placement site. In collaboration with Big Brother Mouse, a school located in Laung Prabang, Laos, we will select two students to work with teachers and students. Interns will support English teaching, play- based curriculum development, and teacher training. Since its opening in September 2020, the school has offered a dynamic learning environment that blends traditional teaching methods with interactive, play-based approaches.
We are seeking enthusiastic interns with a background in teaching and curriculum development. The ideal candidate will have experience in both planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects, as well as a deep understanding of age-appropriate instructional strategies for students. Experience with play-based learning is highly preferred, as the school incorporate games and hands-on activities into their teaching to encourage creativity and critical thinking. Students with English teaching experience would also be strong candidates for this placement, as interns will collaborate with English teachers in classrooms.
Additional experience in international fieldwork or teaching in diverse cultural contexts is a plus. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in an international, community-focused educational setting.
