Biography

I started my teaching career at the university in 2001 at the Department of Psychology. I am a title holder «The best teacher of high school 2020». I am a former Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council on «Pedagogy and Psychology» educational program. I undertook several scientific internships in different countries, namely Czech Republic, UAE, and Russia. I am member of the editorial board of the journal "Minin University Bulleten", member of the Kazakh Psychological Society, American Psychological Association.

Since the very first days of my teaching career, I was inquisitive about how to be proficient in my field. The main area of my professional interest was the psychology of human interactions and their impact on the global community development. The more experience and knowledge I gained at university, the wider my horizons became. And I caught myself thinking that I, as a responsible citizen of the world, want to contribute to the quality higher education. I am interested in an investigating teachers’ professional stress and how to cope with professional stress at the tertiary level.

I have a keen interest in the education program since Universities in Kazakhstan are currently engaged in institutional and pedagogical reforms. I expect to be guided in teaching and learning research project that will favor in further implementing in local area.
In addition, I have some ideas and assumptions that could become the objective for further development among many scholars and practitioners. This can contribute in generating new ideas, ways and solutions to the problems that concern me both as a researcher and a teacher.
